Communication Audit
Communications audits measure the effectiveness of your annual conference efforts and give data-based suggestions for future directions.
Each audit can address certain areas within the conference. Conferences may choose to audit all internal and external communication efforts. Alternatively, conferences can test the perceptions of only one specific area or vehicle, such as a conference newspaper. Be sure to check out our on-line mini-audit if you're looking only for a quick tune up. In either case, it takes a strong commitment from conference leadership and a significant amount of time from the conference staff. However, it can help lay a firm foundation for significant positive changes in communication areas for years to come.
CRT suggests allowing us to come to a meeting with the conference communication commission and key leaders to present what's involved with an audit. CRT staff can answer questions and help set audit goals and objectives. There is no cost to the conference for an audit presentation.
Significant financial assistance is available for conferences embarking on a communications audit. CRT employs an independent communications firm to perform the audit in coordination with CRT staff.
